The CHS Foundation is the only school-based organization authorized to raise funds to fill crucial teaching and staff positions.  Due to long-term erosion of state funding for public schools, fewer resources are available to meet education goals. In recent years, Foundation funding has made possible additional classes in science, English, the performing arts, math, electives and International Baccalaureate classes, along with smaller freshman academies.  These additional staff positions help reduce class size and improve educational opportunities for all our students.

The CHS Foundation is a all-volunteer, parent-led organization raising money through direct donations. Support from parents, community members, business leaders and alumni is vital to maintaining academic excellence at CHS, as the Foundation strives to raise money for staffing positions above the level allocated by the school district.

Watch Cleveland eNews for announcements of Foundation fundraisers throughout the year, including our annual appeal, the Warriors' Campaign, our "paddle raise" at the CHS Auction (March) and our raffle for a vacation trip for four to Hawaii. The Foundation also hosts other social events and produces a year-end ad in the local Bee and Southeast Examiner newspapers to celebrate the graduating senior class. The Foundation strives not only to raise money, but to inform the community about the strength of CHS academics, sports and extracurricular activities.

The CHS Foundation is always looking for new members and would love to have you join us.  If you are interested, please contact us.
